MCF tour - Part 1

A hat from paper

The playground

Accommodations for the kids ... each have a box of their personal items. The younger kids sleep 2 to a bed -- counting all the beds, that would be about 48 kids in a room ...

This is where the the kids bathe. They have a schedule they follow for what day they bathe. They have no showers, no indoor running water, no toilets in the same building they sleep.

The bathroom building (also seen in above playground picture)

Drying clothes

The workers
The "Mulli mountains" in the background

Crop identification; detailed organization
Incredible irrigation systems in place

Worship facility

Preparing meals

Teaching me to make chapati

Paul (on the left) lives at MCF. He has just graduated from Grade 12. He has just qualified for the Olympic Team for his karate skills.

School

At MCF Yatta ... trade school is also taught; hair, sewing (they practice on paper bag "material")

A mango tree ... the mango was so incredibly fresh and delicious ... all the fruit was!

Jacob's Well ... a borehole that has never dried up. An amazing history to this well - you have to read the book "Father to the Fatherless" to read about it
